Some things were created specifically for Tales, which may have been slightly outside of "cannon" as given by the books. Alternately, because of missing information, some things needed to be filled in, and these may have differed from the eventual information given. And some information was simply never given in the years Tales was open. So we made things up, as necessary.

Not everything Tales-specific is available any longer. We are on the lookout for anything other people can send to us.

Sword forms are the patterns of fighting. From "The Falcon Stoops" attack to "Folding the Air" defense, some of these are described in the Wheel of Time series, but many more were written for us.

Sword forms are not enough to win wars, however, and that is where the Military Sizes of the Nations comes in. These details were extrapolated based on both historical and series information.

Unfortunately, most of the area web pages are now lost to us. However, the one that remains readily accessible is also one of the most complete: The White Tower. Read about how Tales of Ta'veren handled Aes Sedai, Accepted and Novices, along with the Warders and their Trainees. Please note, many of the links in the Tower pages are no longer active due to the site reorg. As a result, some things which may seem to be "clickable" will not be.
