Amyrlin Deianeira welcomes you to the White Tower on Tales of Ta'veren, an online role-playing game based in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time world. The White Tower is the training center, home and base of power for the Aes Sedai, women trained to use their magical ability, and their warrior protectors, the Warders. The White Tower is active in the politics of the world, although it usually works behind the scenes. The White Tower is located in the city-state of Tar Valon. Its leader, the Amyrlin Seat, is also the titular ruler of Tar Valon, although an elected High Councillor does most of the work of governing the city. The Tower is a combination of a school, library, research center, government administration center, and military training camp. The support of hundreds of staff and servants is vital to the smooth functioning of the Tower. There are many roles available at the Tower, not just Aes Sedai and Warders!
