The State of the World

The events in the "current" State of the World cover the time period of 1000 NE. (The role-play time period of April 12, 2000 to August 20, 2000.)

The State of the World is provided as a hook for character concepts, role-play and in-character conversation. Here are some examples of ways you might use the State of the World in your role-play.

Example: a war between Ghealdan and Murandy (there isn't one, this is just an example.)

• If you're starting a new character from Ghealdan or Murandy, she could be a refugee, or a he could be a deserter from the army.
• If you have to go on vacation for a week, you could say that your character is running supplies, accompanying a delegation of mediators, etc.
• You could launch some role-play based on this event - how would your character the Murandian react if he met a Ghealdin character?
• Something to talk about in role-played conversations online.
